Michael Cohen is not keeping a low profile in New York as the start of his prison sentence looms and his war of words with President Trump escalates.
The embattled ex-Trump fixer was spotted at Ralph Lauren’s trendy Polo Bar — around the corner from Trump Tower — Friday night, sources told Page Six, the same day President Trump blasted Cohen as a “bad lawyer” and “fraudster.”
“People were coming up and hugging him, and greeting him,” said a fellow diner.
Page Six previously reported that Cohen — who testified in front of the House Committee on Oversight and Reform — has also been spotted at upscale eatery Coco Pazzo in Soho, as well as Freds at Barneys New York.
Cohen has been verbally sparring with Trump, who tweeted Friday, “Bad lawyer and fraudster Michael Cohen said under sworn testimony that he never asked for a Pardon. His lawyers totally contradicted him,” and, “He lied! Additionally, he directly asked me for a pardon. I said NO. He lied again! He also badly wanted to work at the White House. He lied!”
