BREWER, Maine. (WABI) – Products made in Maine, by people from Maine, all under one roof.
Merchants from all over the state were at the Brewer Auditorium.
Organizers of the sixth annual Made in Maine Expo say it’s all about giving artisans and small business owners a chance to showcase their products.
A wide variety of items were on hand for shoppers from food to jewelry to soap and more.
Prices ranged from five bucks to hundreds of dollars.
Organizers say the event has grown every year and has become a place where vendors can not only sell their products, but also network with others.
“It just gives them a place to come and get noticed, get recognized, get their name out there. They, basically, they don’t have brick and mortar stores. They do all of their stuff online, they have small stores, they do craft fairs. So, this helps really get the word out.”
