A man was shot and killed in U.S. San Francisco’s Bayview neighborhood during Fourth of July festivities late Tuesday, police said on Wednesday.
Officers responding to reports of a shooting at 10 p.m. found a man suffering from gunshot wounds, the San Francisco Police Department said in a statement.
The victim was transported to hospital, where he was declared deceased. No suspects have been identified.
The killing is the seventh in the Bayview neighborhood this year, and the city’s 26th, according to police crime data.
