A hospital in Massachusetts has banned children from visiting patients in light of the flu season.
Winchester Hospital in Winchester, Massachusetts posted the new visitor policy Friday night in a Facebook post.
Children ages 13 and under are not allowed to visit patients in the hospital because of the flu season.
“Patients, particularly pregnant women and children, can get very sick from visitors who may only have mild flu systems,” the hospital wrote.
