Three celebrities for the price of one.

The Masked Singer US unmasked another act last night, revealing three celebrities in the process.

Suitably for the TV Theme Week, in which the costumed stars (and judge Robin Thicke) performed songs from classic shows, Mummies were revealed to be the three boys from The Brady Bunch: Mike Lookinland, Barry Williams and Christopher Knight.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the trio revealed why the three Brady Bunch girls, who had no idea the lads were on the show, didn’t join them for a complete reunion.

“It was only discussed as the Brady boys,” Williams said, while Knight added: “I think three individually costumed performers is already record-setting for the show if I’m not mistaken. So six would have been just crazy.”

It’s the trio’s first time performing together in a long time, and when asked how rusty they felt, Knight joked: “It’s never unrusty. I was born rusty. That’s me. You know, that’s not my forte or my place of comfort.

“So I had to be – I’m not sure I had to be talked into doing it, it was more or less the right thing to do in light of the fact that it was kind of a group opportunity or no opportunity – so my bros here pulled me through and helped me just survive.”

“Even from the days of Brady, when we were recording albums and doing episodes that involved music, we had a variety show that was all music and dancing, we toured together. It was just not something that Chris ever was totally comfortable with,” Williams added.

“He went along with it, he was a great team player. But we haven’t done anything like this since the variety show in the ’70s that I can think of, and that was ’77.

“So that would be the last time, and when we were approached [for The Masked Singer] Mike and I were supportive and encouraging to Chris, and he did it… Everybody is putting forth their best effort, and the sound mix that came out on stage I thought sounded great.”

The latest unmasking follows last week’s reveal that Hummingbird was NSYNC’s Chris Kirkpatrick.

Over in the UK, The Masked Dancer unveiled two more acts over the last weekend, one of whom had to withdraw due to injury.
