A delegation from Tajikistan took part in the World Bank’s international forum on energy, trade and investment in Central Asia, March 7, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the republic reports.
According to the press service, the event was held on March 2-3 at the initiative of the World Bank, the governments of Central Asia, Great Britain and Northern Ireland in London. The delegation of Tajikistan at the forum was headed by Deputy Prime Minister Usmonali Usmonzoda.
It is reported that the head of the Tajik delegation spoke at the sessions of the business forum, where he noted the achievements achieved in the country’s cooperation with the World Bank, and also put forward specific proposals to strengthen Tajikistan’s capabilities in the areas of economy, trade, energy, trade and infrastructure.
