Massachusetts U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren will be the keynote speaker Friday night at a New Hampshire Democratic Party dinner.
Organizers said 1,000 tickets were sold for the McIntyre-Shaheen 100 Club Dinner, and a sold-out house is expected to hear from the Democratic presidential candidate. Also on the stage at the Doubletree Hotel will be New Hampshire’s congressional delegation.
Warren is scheduled to speak at 8:30 p.m. This is the 60th year of the dinner, which is a major fundraiser for the party.
“We’re already well engaged in making sure that in 2020, we hold onto the congressional delegation and we elect a democrat governor and we hold onto our legislative majorities and carry the state to the Democratic nominee for president,” said party Chairman Ray Buckley.
Warren plans to meet voters Saturday in Laconia, Plymouth and Nashua.
Aside from Warren, Minnesota U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar and California U.S. Rep. Eric Swalwell will also be in the Granite State.
